On Eugenics, Bioengineering, and the Weaponization of Reproductive Violence

A Reflection on True Crime and Entertainment

There is something else I need to say, and it is uncomfortable.

Before this happened to me, I watched some content related to the "true crime" genre, including documentaries, YouTube videos, news stories about people who had been victimized. Although I didn't treat them as entertainment, they were sources of news, truths, and morbid curiosity that I passed some time with.

I did not realize how sinful and cruel this is.

I was complicit. I was consuming people's tragedies as content.

Now that I am on the other side, now that I am the one being surveilled, being speculated on, I understand. There is nothing entertaining about this. There is nothing interesting in a good way about what I am going through. This is a human rights violation. This is not a story to be consumed as entertainment.

I am not saying this to condemn others. I was guilty of the same thing. I watched the videos. I clicked the recommendations. I treated real people's pain as something to observe from a distance.

But I am saying it now because I want others to think about it. When you watch true crime content, when you consume news stories about victims, when you treat tragedy as entertainment, you are complicit. You are benefiting from someone else's suffering.

If you are going to engage with these stories, do so with care. Do so with awareness. Do so with compassion for the real people behind the headlines. Do not let their pain become your entertainment.

And if you are a professional, a journalist, a content creator, a researcher, ask yourself: am I helping, or am I exploiting?

The Deeper Pattern: Obsession with Motherhood, Genetics, and Heritage

As I document these tactics, I have come to notice a deeper pattern in the abusers' behaviour: an obsession with motherhood, genetics, and heritage that goes beyond ordinary interest.

Their language and tactics reveal this obsession:

  • Constant references to motherhood, pregnancy, and reproduction

  • Fixation on matrilineal lines and genetic inheritance

  • Discussions of surrogacy and reproductive technology

  • Framing me and my parents as "medical anomalies" worthy of study

  • Attempts to link my worth to my genetic or reproductive capacity

  • Inversion of cultural heritage, taking my Chinese background and twisting it into a curse

This pattern is not random. It reflects an ideological framework that treats reproduction and genetics as matters of control, optimization, and power.

Historical and Cultural Context

There are historical and cultural currents that help explain this obsession.

Eugenics and Population Control: The eugenics movement of the early 20th century was obsessed with controlling reproduction to "improve" genetic stock. This movement influenced policies in multiple countries, including forced sterilization programs in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Nazi Germany took these ideas to their extreme, using them to justify genocide. While eugenics was widely condemned after World War II, elements of this thinking persist in certain circles, particularly among those interested in bioengineering, transhumanism, and population control.

Matrilineal Heritage and Identity: In Jewish tradition, identity is passed through the mother. Matrilineal descent determines who is considered Jewish. This is a legitimate and deeply meaningful aspect of Jewish heritage. I do not criticize this. Every culture has its own ways of understanding identity, heritage, and belonging. My abusers happen to have connections to these traditions, and they project their own fixations onto me.

Surrogacy and Reproductive Technology: The United States and Israel are global leaders in surrogacy and reproductive technology. This is not inherently wrong. Medical advancements that help people build families can be a blessing. But when the same technological capability is combined with eugenic ideology and coercive intent, it becomes something else entirely.

Obsession with Genetics: Some people place enormous importance on genetics, ancestry, and heritage. They see themselves as carriers of something special, something that must be protected, optimized, or propagated. This can become a form of idolatry, placing genetic inheritance above character, decency, and faith.

My Stance on Genetics and Heritage

I am a Christian. I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that my identity is found in Him, not in my genetics.

I am Chinese. I have Chinese heritage. I respect my ancestors, my culture, and my history. I am grateful for where I come from. But I do not obsess over my genetics. I do not believe my worth comes from my DNA.

If I am alive today, I already have ancestors who survived. Every person alive today has ancestors who made it this far. That is true of everyone, regardless of race, nationality, or heritage. Everyone deserves respect for their ancestry, for the people who came before them, for the cultures and traditions that shaped them.

But at the end of the day, what matters is being a decent person. What matters is how you treat others. What matters is whether you love God and love your neighbour.

I am not, nor have I ever been, someone obsessed with genetics. I think it is interesting. I think history is interesting. I think ancestry is meaningful. But I do not give it the kind of importance that my abusers do. I do not see people as projects to be optimized. I do not see reproduction as something to be controlled. I see people as human beings, made in the image of God, deserving of dignity and respect regardless of their genetic makeup.

What the Abusers Reveal About Themselves

The abusers' obsession with motherhood, genetics, and heritage reveals something about them, not about me.

They project their fixations onto me. They assume that because they care so much about these things, I must also care. They assume that because they see themselves as carriers of something special, I must also see myself that way. They assume that because they think in terms of optimization and control, I must also think that way.

I do not.

They are the ones who are obsessed. They are the ones who see people as data points, genetic specimens, reproductive vessels. They are the ones who have turned heritage into a weapon and motherhood into something to be controlled.

I document this because it is part of their profile. It is part of who they are. It is part of what drives them to do what they do.

My Rebuke

I rebuke their obsession with my genetics, my reproduction, my heritage. I rebuke their attempts to reduce me to data. I rebuke their fixation on motherhood and their perversion of what is sacred.

I declare in the name of Jesus Christ: my identity is not in my DNA. My worth is not in my reproductive capacity. My heritage is not something to be weaponized against me.

I belong to God. He made me. He knows me. He is the one who numbers my days, who sustains my life, who has protected me through all of this.

Their obsession with genetics will not define me. Their fixation on motherhood will not control me. Their attempts to curse my heritage will not succeed.

What I Want to Be Clear About

I want to be clear about what I am not saying:

  • I am not criticizing Jewish traditions regarding matrilineal heritage. Every culture has its own ways of understanding identity, and these deserve respect.

  • I am not criticizing surrogacy or reproductive technology. Medical advancements that help people build families can be a blessing.

  • I am not saying that caring about ancestry or heritage is wrong. It is not. History matters. Culture matters. Family matters.

What I am saying is that when these things become obsessions, when they become tools of control, weapons of abuse, justifications for treating people as projects, they become something dark.

What I am saying is that my abusers' obsession with these things reveals who they are, not who I am.

What I am saying is that at the end of the day, what matters is being a decent person. What matters is how you treat others. What matters is whether you love God and love your neighbor. Everything else is secondary.

For Professionals

I document these patterns—the obsession with genetics, motherhood, and heritage; the eugenic framing; the use of reproductive technology as a weapon—because they are part of the full picture of who my abusers are and what they are doing.

If you are a professional working in:

  • Reproductive health and justice

  • Bioethics and transhumanism

  • Human rights and torture prevention

  • Cultic studies and organized harassment

I am willing to share more detailed documentation through appropriate channels.

A Final Thought

I am a survivor. I am a victim. I am documenting my experience so that the truth is known.

My abusers see me as a project. They see me as data. They see my genetics, my heritage, my reproductive capacity as things to be studied, controlled, optimized, cursed.

But I am not a project. I am a person. I am a child of God. I am someone who has been pulled back from the brink again and again by grace I did not earn and do not deserve.

They will not define me. Their obsessions will not control me. Their curses will not take root.

I belong to Jesus Christ. And in Him, I am free.
