On the Escalation of Abuse: Projection, Provocation, and the Attempt to Create a False Identity

Since I began documenting my experiences publicly, the tactics used against me have escalated. I want to document this escalation in general terms so that professionals, law enforcement, forensic psychologists, cult experts, understand the progression of the abuse.

The Tactic: Projection and Provocation

One consistent tactic involves projecting violent and corrupt imagery into my mind, and then monitoring my response. The purpose is twofold:

  • To provoke a reaction that can then be used as "evidence" against me

  • To create a false identity that aligns with their own crimes

The images they project are not my creations. They are imposed on me. When I react with anger, disgust, or even violent imagination against the projected images, they claim that reaction as proof that I am what they accuse me of being.

This is projection. They are showing me what is in their minds, then blaming me for seeing it.

Clinical Reference: Projection is a recognized defence mechanism in psycho-dynamic theory (Freud, 1896), where an individual attributes their own unacceptable thoughts, feelings, or impulses to another person. In abusive contexts, projection serves to confuse the victim, externalize the abuser's guilt, and create a false narrative that aligns with the abuser's crimes rather than the victim's reality (Herman, 1992; Trauma and Recovery).

Biblical Reference: "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" - Isaiah 5:20 (NASB)

The Tactic: Inverting Morality

Another consistent tactic involves inverting moral categories:

  • When I behave in Christ-like ways, forgiveness, patience, restraint, they call me "bad"

  • When I behave sinfully or express anger at their abuse, they call me "good"

This is a classic grooming technique. It is designed to confuse the victim's moral compass and to make righteousness feel shameful while sin feels rewarding.

Clinical Reference: Moral inversion is a documented tactic in cultic and coercive control contexts. Hassan (2015) in Freedom of Mind identifies "good vs. evil" reframing as a method of control, where the group redefines moral categories to align with their own agenda. Similarly, Lifton (1961) in Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism describes "milieu control" where the group defines what is acceptable and unacceptable, creating confusion and dependency in the target.

"For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, and will turn their ears away from the truth and will turn aside to myths." - 2 Timothy 4:3–4 (NASB)

The Tactic: Targeting Family Relationships

The abusers have also attempted to turn me against my mother. They make wicked suggestions about her while simultaneously hoping I would mentally regress and behave childishly. This combination—infantilization of the victim and incitement to violence against family members—is a known pattern in cult abuse and organized harassment.

Clinical Reference: Infantilization is a documented coercive control tactic used to undermine adult competence and maintain dependency (Stark, 2007; Coercive Control). Cultic groups frequently target family bonds to isolate the victim and destroy protective relationships (Lalich & Tobias, 2006; Take Back Your Life). The combination of infantilization with incitement to violence represents a particularly destructive form of psychological torture.

Biblical Reference: "Honour your father and your mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you." - Exodus 20:12 (NASB)

"If anyone does not provide for his own relatives, and especially for his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."1 Timothy 5:8 (NASB)

"There is a generation who curses their father, and does not bless their mother."Proverbs 30:11 (NASB)

The Tactic: Grooming Through False Affirmation

Some members of the harassment group have attempted to groom me by offering false affirmation:

  • Praising me when I am "dumber, duller, and prettier"

  • Expressing obsession with disabilities, hoping to slow down the victim

  • Alternating between flattery and degradation to keep me off balance

This is not random cruelty. It is calculated.

Clinical Reference: Intermittent reinforcement—alternating between reward and punishment—is a powerful tool of psychological control (Festinger & Carlsmith, 1959; cognitive dissonance theory). Grooming behaviors often involve cycles of idealization and devaluation that create trauma bonding (Carnes, 1997; The Betrayal Bond). The fixation on diminishing the victim's cognitive capacity aligns with patterns of "dumbing down" observed in coercive control contexts (Hassan, 2015).

Biblical Reference: "A lying tongue hates those it crushes, and a flattering mouth works ruin." - Proverbs 26:28 (NASB)

"A man who flatters his neighbor is spreading a net for his steps." - Proverbs 29:5 (NASB)

"They deceive with flattering lips; they speak with arrogance." - Psalm 12:2–3 (NASB)

The Tactic: Using Faith as a Weapon

The harassers know I am a Christian. They know I believe in Jesus Christ. And they attempt to use that against me, mocking my faith, testing my responses, and attempting to drive me away from the very source of my strength.

What they do not understand is that my faith is not a weakness. It is why I am still here. It is why I am still documenting. It is why I have not become what they want me to become.

Clinical Reference: Religious abuse, the use of faith or spiritual beliefs to manipulate, control, or harm-is a recognized form of psychological maltreatment (Johnson & Van Vonderen, 1991; The Subtle Power of Spiritual Abuse). Abusers often target a victim's most deeply held beliefs as a method of destabilization, knowing that attacking the source of the victim's strength creates maximum disorientation (Lalich, 2004; Bounded Choice).

Biblical Reference: "Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." - Matthew 5:11-12 (NASB)

"If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you." - John 15:18-9 (NASB)

"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell." - Matthew 10:28 (NASB)

The Tactic: Claiming They Can Manipulate Images of Real People

The harassers have also claimed that their technology allows them to manipulate images of real people, including people I know, and insidiously enough, of all ages, to create deepfakes. They have suggested that this is part of their "services" involved with "buying" and "selling" (in reference to Revelation 13:16–17, the Mark of the Beast), in exchange for some form of allegiance.

I do not know the full extent of what their technology can do. But I know that this is a threat they make, and it is a threat I take seriously enough to document and report.

Clinical Reference: Threats involving deepfake technology represent an emerging form of technology-facilitated abuse. Research on image-based abuse documents the severe psychological harm caused by threats to manipulate or distribute intimate images (Henry, Flynn & Powell, 2020; Technology-Facilitated Domestic and Sexual Violence). When combined with coercive control tactics, such threats constitute a form of psychological terrorism.

Biblical Reference: "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor." - Exodus 20:16 (NASB)

"There are six things which the Lord hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that run rapidly to evil, a false witness who declares lies, and one who spreads strife among brothers." - Proverbs 6:16-19 (NASB)

"For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light." - Luke 8:17 (NASB)

A Disclaimer on What I Observe as I Write

As I write and post this, I observe that some of the surveillance operators demonstrate visible excitement about the very things I am documenting.

This is important for professionals to understand: some of these individuals see themselves as embodying evil. Some of them derive satisfaction from having access to this technology and from the power they believe it gives them. They are excited by the ability to ruin lives, to provoke anger, to make people suffer. For some, this appears to be a form of sexual excitation, a perverse arousal tied to the destruction of others.

This is not hyperbole. This is observable behaviour that I am documenting as part of the psychological and spiritual profile of these abusers.

I record this not for sensationalism, but to provide forensic scientists, intelligence professionals, and mental health experts with insight into the character, psychology, and spiritual condition of the type of people who have access to this technology and choose to use it this way. This is something worthy of serious concern and further investigation.

Clinical Reference: Sadistic personality traits, deriving pleasure from cruelty, humiliation, or suffering of others, have been documented in clinical literature (American Psychiatric Association, DSM-III-R, 1987, though removed from later editions). More recent research on "everyday sadism" identifies individuals who derive gratification from cruelty without necessarily meeting full personality disorder criteria (Paulhus & Williams, 2002; The Dark Triad of Personality). When such traits combine with technological capability and systemic power, the result is a particularly dangerous form of predatory behaviour.

Biblical Reference: "Woe to those who devise wickedness, who plot evil on their beds! When morning comes, they carry it out because it is in their power to do it. They covet fields and seize them; they take houses and deprive a man of his home, a person of his inheritance." - Micah 2:1-2 (NASB)

"Their feet run to evil, and they are quick to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of wickedness; devastation and destruction are in their paths." - Isaiah 59:7 (NASB)

"They rejoice in doing evil and delight in the perversity of evil." - Proverbs 2:14 (NASB)

The Reality: Why I Am Still Here

I have experienced what should have destroyed me. I have been pushed to the edge of madness, to the brink of violence, to the point of despair. And I have been pulled back—miraculously, repeatedly—by the grace of God through Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit.

I experience the Holy Spirit as a real presence in my life:

  • A cleansing that removes the filth they try to implant

  • A healing that restores my mind when they try to break it

  • A peace that remains even when chaos surrounds me

  • A voice that calls me back to truth when they try to drown it in lies

This is not metaphor. This is my lived experience. The same way their technology is real, the presence of God is real. And it is the only reason I am still sane, still safe, still writing.

Clinical Reference: Resilience in the face of severe, sustained abuse is a documented phenomenon. Research on post-traumatic growth (Tedeschi & Calhoun, 2004) identifies factors that enable individuals to survive and even grow following trauma: spiritual belief systems, meaning-making, social support, and internal coping resources. My experience aligns with this research: faith has functioned as a primary protective factor and source of resilience.

Biblical Reference: "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves; we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." - 2 Corinthians 4:7-9 (NASB)

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13 (NASB)

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; whom shall I dread?" - Psalm 27:1 (NASB)

For Professionals

I am documenting these tactics because they represent a pattern that needs professional analysis. If you are a forensic psychologist, cult expert, or law enforcement professional, I have more detailed documentation available through appropriate channels. I am not publishing the explicit details because repeating filth serves the abusers, not the truth.

I am willing to cooperate fully with professionals who can help analyze this case and develop frameworks for identifying and stopping this type of abuse.

Next Steps for Me

I continue to:

  • Document everything privately

  • Work with law enforcement

  • Reach out to forensic psychologists and cult experts

  • Protect myself by keeping explicit details out of the public sphere

  • Hold onto my faith in Jesus Christ, which has proven to be the only true protection against these forces
