My Mother's Goodness

My mother is a good woman. She is kind. She is gentle. She is self-sacrificing. She is the kind of person who gives without expecting anything in return.

She is more righteous than me. More pure. More bright. More sunny. She has a goodness in her that is steady, consistent, unshakable. She makes the world brighter just by being in it.

I am grateful for her. I am grateful for the life she gave me. I am grateful for the sacrifices she made. I am grateful that she chose Canada, chose to build a life here, chose to give me opportunities she did not have.

My Blessing for My Mother

I bless my mother in the name of Jesus Christ.

I bless her strength. She has carried more than anyone should have to carry, and she is still standing.

I bless her righteousness. She is more righteous than me. She is gentler, purer, brighter, sunnier. She is a good woman. She is a kind woman. She is a woman who loves without expecting anything in return. That is rare. That is precious. That is a gift to everyone who knows her.

I bless her sacrifices. She gave up comfort, stability, goodness and joy, to give me a better life. I see it. I remember it. I am grateful for it.

I bless her resilience. She has been through hardship and come out the other side. She will come through this too.

I bless her peace. I pray that she finds rest from the worries that plague her. I pray that she sleeps well. I pray that she knows she is safe, she is loved, she is not alone.

I bless her joy. Even in the hard days, I pray she finds moments of laughter, of lightness, of happiness. She deserves joy.

I bless her relationships. I pray that she feels the love of the people around her, her friends, her family, her community. I pray that she knows she is valued, respected, cherished.

I bless her future. I pray that the days ahead bring her more peace than the days behind. I pray that she sees the fruit of her labor, the reward of her sacrifice, the goodness that comes from a life lived well.

I bless her protection. I declare that no weapon formed against her will succeed. I declare that the surveillance operators will not have her. They will not break her. They will not turn her against me. They will not use her as a weapon.

I bless her with the knowledge that she is seen. She is seen by God. She is seen by me. She is seen by the people who love her. She is not invisible. She is not forgotten. She is not a failure. She is good. She is righteous. She is blessed.

In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour, amen.

My Blessing for My Father and My Family

I also bless my father. He has worked his entire life to support us and continue on trying to do so. He has sacrificed. He has provided. He is a decent man who has done his best in difficult circumstances. He loves me. He loves my mother.

I bless my family in China, my cousins, my aunts, my uncles, my grandparents. They have supported us. They have helped us. They have loved us. They are good people, decent people, people who have shown kindness when they did not have to.

I bless all of them with protection. I bless them with blessings. I bless them with light and goodness.

I declare in the name of Jesus Christ: no weapon formed against my family will succeed. The curses of the surveillance operators will not touch them. They are protected. They are seen. They are loved.

I pray that God surrounds them with His protection. I pray that He fills their lives with blessings. I pray that He keeps them safe from the evil that has been directed at me and my mother.

In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour, amen.

A Final Blessing

May my mother know peace. May she know joy. May she know that she is loved, valued, cherished.

May she be protected from those who wish her harm. May she be surrounded by goodness, by kindness, by light.

May she see the fruit of her labor. May she know that her sacrifices were not in vain. May she be proud of the life she built, the daughter she raised, the woman she is.

She is good. She is righteous. She is blessed.

And I love her.
